Licenses and Credentials
Spurwink Services is committed to excellence in the programs and services we provide for children, adults and families. Our agency holds the following licenses and credentials:
- National accreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA), an international, not-for-profit accrediting body of social and behavioral healthcare services. COA accreditation attests that an organization meets the highest national standards and is delivering the best quality services to the communities it serves.
- A Mental Health license from the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services
- A Substance Abuse Services Certificate/License from the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services
- Each of our residential homes for youth is individually reviewed and licensed every two years by the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
- Eleven of our 14 residential homes for adults are licensed by the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services as Assisted Housing Programs for Residential Care Level I or III.
