Spurwink Mourns Loss of Heather Bouchard, Case Manager

Spurwink Service's Case Management Program suffered a tremendous loss this week when Heather Bouchard , a Case Manager in the agency's Saco office, died on April 15th as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic car accident on Interstate 295 in Cumberland. Heather had worked for the Spurwink Case Management Program since October 2007, and had made a huge impact on the lives of her clients, their families and her colleagues in a short time.

“Heather was a natural as a Case Manager,” said Tim True, Program Supervisor. “When she arrived at Spurwink, she hit the ground running and made an immediate impact with the families she served.”

In addition to her position as a Case Manager, Heather also worked as an In-Home Support Worker for Support Solutions, and was pursuing her Master's degree at the University of New England.

“Heather had an abundance of energy for everything she did in life,” said Kim Wilson, Director of Spurwink's Case Management Program. “She had a way of connecting with people on many different levels and touched each of her clients in her own special way. Many of our clients were devastated to hear the news of Heather's untimely passing.”
