Child Psychological Services
Psychological evaluations can be used to make a differential diagnosis and to make treatment recommendations. The evaluations can provide information about a number of areas including: cognitive abilities (IQ); emotional functioning (i.e., depression, anxiety, emotional reactivity); behavioral functioning; psychological stability; trauma related symptoms; learning style; adaptive functioning; level of basic achievement skills; reality testing; perception of self/others; interpersonal skills; and coping skills.
Appropriate referrals include:

Children who have not been improving in treatment

Children who are struggling in school

Children who are having difficulties at home

Children who need updated evaluations for a continuation of services
